Medieval Interlace Embellishments

There is a long period of history in the British Isles commonly known as the "Dark," "Medieval" or "Middle" Ages, spanning from the decline of the Romano~British culture ca. 500 CE, to the dawn of the era commonly called the "Renaissance" around 1500 CE. The items listed for sale below are inspired by the Anglo~Saxon "interlace" art style which flourish in this time period, as well as traditional Celtic knot~work and jewelry designs of the same era. These pieces are composed entirely of materials which would have been available to jewelers of the period, including glass, genuine pearls and natural stone. The metals used in them are also not modern alloys, and are instead comprised of pure sterling silver, copper and brass.

Hand~woven pure copper wire, this self~entwining serpent's body measures 3 x 2 inches, and features a red 4mm Swarovski crystal eye. Designed to bring authentic style to historical reenactor's garb, this piece's four 6 inch coiled copper tails are ready to be wrapped around your Medieval leather belt, sword scabbard or decorative comb.
